About Marine Park Tennis Courts

Located at E. 32nd St &, Ave. S, Brooklyn, NY 11229, Marine Park Tennis Courts operates as a tennis court serving Brooklyn in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 376-1675. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, nycgovparks.org.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place is very nice. It's relaxing and plenty of parking space outside. But that's during the wintertime, when it summer, it can get very crowded and hard to find parking.

Marine Park's tennis courts are great. The courts fill up quickly, so you should head out early. Remember, you'll need to get a permit for the season or a NYC Day Pass to play on the courts. Marine Park overall is a great park to have activities or to just enjoy being outdoors.
